Psychometric Test

All selection methods seek to bring together evidence that you have the abilities and qualities to be successful on the job. However, airlines today are mandated to check one’s Personality traits by the means of Psychometry Testing. Psychometric tests measure whether you have the specific abilities, personal qualities, human behavior/tendencies in relation to the job specification.

Five-Screen Flying Skill

The five-screen flying is a general assessment of candidate’s personality & their multi-tasking skills. Our CASS set-up is a replica of the actual CASS assessment. Students are assessed on various parameters such as their prioritization, memory, attention, decision-making, verbal & physical communication, psycho-motor capacity, & the basic flying skills in a stressful environment.

Group Activity

The process of group activity takes into account a candidate’s decision-making skills, judgment, teamwork & their reactions under time constraints. Our group activities are tailor-made for students according to the specific vacancy; ranging from the Cadet Pilot Program to CPL Holders to 320 Rated students.

Interview Preparation

The interview process is driven by one principal goal: To weed out any potentially “unsafe hires.” They want to eliminate anyone & everyone who might end up costing the company more money, cause legal issues, not be a good cultural fit, or in any other way cause the company some type of embarrassment &/or inconvenience.

How SSCPL help Students?

Our Psychologist also provides a one-on-one evaluation of student’s performance, provides feedback for improvement & gives a complete debrief.

Our highly experienced Psychologist will guide you to tackle even the trickiest of questions & be mindful of your non-verbal language as well.

Get for your Radio Telephony Licence with SSCPL

RTR(A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license is a certification that allows an individual to use radio communication equipment for aviation operations. This license is mandatory for pilots who operate aircraft in controlled airspace and communicate with air traffic control (ATC) for navigation and other related purposes.

The RTR (A) license is issued by the national aviation regulatory authority and requires applicants to complete a training program that covers the basics of radio communication, including the phonetic alphabet, standard phraseology, and air traffic control procedures. The training also includes practical exercises in simulated radio communication environments.
Applicants must pass written+oral and viva exams conducted by the regulatory authority to demonstrate their proficiency in using radio communication equipment and procedures.
In summary, the RTR (A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license is a mandatory certification for pilots operating aircraft in controlled airspace, allowing them to communicate with air traffic control using radio communication equipment.

Paper Solving & Communication Procedures (Transmission)

The first part of the RTR (A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license exam includes paper solving and communication procedures (transmission). This part of the exam assesses the candidate’s knowledge of radio communication equipment and procedures, including the use of the phonetic alphabet, standard phraseology, and air traffic control procedures.
During the paper solving portion of the exam, candidates are given a series of questions related to radio communication equipment and procedures, and are required to demonstrate their knowledge by providing written answers.
In the communication procedures (transmission) portion of the exam, candidates are required to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively using radio communication equipment, including proper use of the phonetic alphabet, standard phraseology, and air traffic control procedures. Candidates may be asked to simulate radio communication with an examiner or with a simulated air traffic control tower.

Oral Exam (VIVA) largely based on Regulation and Navigation

The second part of the RTR (A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license exam is an oral exam, commonly referred to as a VIVA (Viva Voce), and is largely based on regulations and navigation.
During this part of the exam, candidates are tested on their knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures, as well as navigation techniques and procedures. The examiner may ask questions related to aviation law, airspace classifications, weather regulations, navigation techniques, and other related topics.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter through clear and concise answers to the examiner’s questions. The oral exam is designed to assess the candidate’s understanding of the regulations and procedures that govern the use of radio communication equipment in aviation operations, and their ability to apply that knowledge in a practical setting.
In summary, the RTR (A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license exam consists of two parts: a paper solving and communication procedures (transmission) section, and an oral exam (VIVA) largely based on regulations and navigation. The exam is designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge of radio communication equipment and procedures, as well as their understanding of aviation regulations and procedures related to the use of radio communication equipment in aviation operations.
